ISA

ISA is a robotic companion designed to help children with Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) gradually overcome food-related sensory anxiety. Through a child-led, three-step interaction with unfamiliar food textures, ISA encourages safe, self-paced exposure while giving children complete control over the experience. The project explores how social robotics can make food desensitisation more engaging, accessible, and less reliant on intensive clinical support.
